2a Megalítica Tossa de Mar 13/10/19; Trail 5km/10km / 21km
The 2nd Megalitica in Tossa de Mar will be held on 13/10/19 organized by La Sansi and Club Fondistes Tossa, and with the collaboration of the Tossa de Mar City Council.
For a total of 800 registered, the 3 distances to be crossed will be 5km (150mts positive), 10km (263mts positive) and half Marathon 21km (800mts positive).
The 1st edition was closed with 625 inscription exhausted, with participants from 4 continents and 19 Countries (Spain, Senegal, Scotland, Morocco, Norway, Italy, Japan, Bolivia, France, Andorra, Argentina, Ecuador, Uruguay, Colombia, Germany, China, Denmark and Peru).
La Sansi organizes 13 races during the year with more than 40,000 registered, including the Cursa dels Nassos in Barcelona for more than 11.000 registered people, and the technical direction of the Cursa La Mercè (14.000 registered). He has also organized, amongst others, the Catalan mountain racing championship in the last 3 editions, and now jointly with the club fondistas Tossa, and thanks to the collaboration of the Tossa de Mar City Council and the institutions of the province, offer the possibility of the 2nd Megalithic, which will again contribute to the dissemination of sport to the population, and to the province.
The race will begin in Tossa de Mar, and you will go for a 2km intercity route, going back to the exit, then continue making the first ascents for a tour of different emblematic places of the city: Terra Negra, Vall de Roc and a "range of dolmens and menhirs" from the Megalithic era, making us fall in love with the most spectacular mountain landscapes that can only be found in Macís d'Ardenya-Cadiretes. A part of the route will be technical, but accessible to all participants. In the last kilometers, you can enjoy the roads with cliffs of the most authentic Costa Brava, to finish at Tossa de Mar, at the same point of departure.
During the tour, there will be different liquid and solid supplies, in addition to those located at the start and finish, in order to restore strength.
The departure will be at 9:00 with three distance, depending on the distance, rhythms and level of the participants, will be indicated on the pick of different colors, will be different according to the chosen distance. In the free services that participants will have at the price of the registration, they will be able to enjoy 1.500mts2 of fair of the corridor, previous training, hotel offer, kindergarten, numbered dorsal, showers, cloakroom, more than 2,000 photographs , masseuses, big racer bag, long-sleeved technical shirt, plantar studio, train to Blanes, commemorative medal (10 and 21km), hares, entertainment points, marked kilometers, exit and arrival videos, big draw together of surprises and services to enjoy a good weekend.
