More than 600 registered for the Ascent and Descent to Guanta next Sunday

Next Sunday, December 5, La Sansi is organizing a new edition of the Ascent and Descent to Guanta, with the arrival of Sentmenat City Council. The event, which this year will be the 35th edition, will be the first of a month of December full of races where, in addition, the Sansi Viladecans, the Sant Silvestre del Masnou and the Cursa dels Nassos stand out.

The organization is still in the last week with more than 600 registered, which means that the number of participants has increased by 35% compared to the previous edition. However, there are still a few days left to be able to register. The goal is to reach the 700 people targeted, a limit set by the current edition.

The race will start at 10am with the children’s races and will continue until 10.30am, with the start of the already classic 12.3km distance and the novelty of a 6km race. The collection of the bib and the shirt will take place at the Poliesportiu 1 de Mayo, next to the start and in front of the Sentmenat Town Hall, on the same Sunday between 7:45 and 9:45.

The race is organized for the eighth edition by La Sansi, with the collaboration of the City Council of Sentmenat and the Diputació de Barcelona, ​​forming part of the calendar of the Catalan Athletics Federation and will score for the Championchip League. The route will be mixed, asphalt and track, with few technical difficulties and moderate slopes, which will allow you to run at a good pace and will be accessible for all levels.
