Results of the 2nd Lloretrail

• This is one of the races with the most registrations in Catalonia for more than a year

Lloret de Mar, April 11, 2021.- La Sansi, with the collaboration of the Lloret de Mar City Council and the Girona Provincial Council, has organized the 2nd LloretTrail today with 1,010 exhausted numbers a few days ago from 17 different countries. The 5.2 and 13.9 km trail was authorized by the Catalan Athletics Federation and the General Secretariat for Sport and Physical Activity.

The race already has 2 years of pandemic edition, the 1st edition was last September.

In the men's category in the 13km victory of the international athlete Jonathan Romeo with 59'09 ahead of the Latvian international Dmitrij Serjogins with 1'01'03 and third the Olympic Ángel Mullera; In the 5km, the winner was the same Serjogins who did the two distances with 1h30mins difference, winning with 19'57 "ahead of RCD Espanyol athlete José Diaz Carretero and 3rd Carlos Gamez.

In the female category in 13km, a great victory for the Catalan champion Nuria Gil with 1'09'07 followed by the international athletes Anna Comet and Sheila Avilés. In the 5km victory of the Latvian athlete Kitija Valtere with 24'38 ahead of the Colombian Jackeline Gomez.

More than 1,000 registered have enjoyed a great day on the trail. The awards were presented by Ana García Castany, Lloret's sports councilor, and Joan Villuendas, President of the FCA.

The exits have been staggered, complying with the required safety distance at the time of the event.
