Regulations La Sansi 17 Viladecans 08/12/24
1. La Sansi will organize the 17th edition of La Sansi de Viladecans on December 8, 2024, with the collaboration of Viladecans Town Council and the Catalan Athletics Federation. Distance approved by the FCA.
Departure at 10:30 am. in the Marina Park next to the Viladecans Renfe station and the Vilamarina shopping centre.
The race is part of the Championchip league and the FCA calendar, and will be the absolute championship of Catalonia and the 5 km route master.
2. All registrations of both federated or federated athletes and unlicensed popular participants will go online at www.lasansiviladecans.com
Remember that the registrations for the CHAMPIONSHIP OF CATALONIA must be done by the clubs through the SDP. The deadline for registration will be Tuesday, December 3, and on Wednesday, December 4, the FCA will publish the list of participants on its website. The participants must have the license of the Catalan Athletics Federation processed for the current season.

3. The event is open to everyone and registering or participating in the race represents full acceptance and respect for these regulations. Its interpretation and everything that is not expressly regulated will be decided by the organization or by the judges of the competition.
4. The distance to be covered on asphalt will be 5 kilometers, marked exactly every kilometer, with a time limit of 45 minutes (Until 11:15 a.m.) and the timetables will be as follows.
10:30 a.m. Catalan championship of 5km absolute route and master
10:31 a.m. Popular race 5 km
11:15 a.m. 3 Children's races from 400 to 800 meters (depending on the number of registrants, the races will be adapted). It will be announced a few days before the race.
11:30 a.m. Awards for the 5 km and the 3 children's races.
5.All participants of the 5km race and children's races who choose the option will be given a technical shirt.
6. The race will be timed by Championchip (yellow chip) or white rental chip on the bib (No need to return).
Federated participants, or whoever the organization deems appropriate, will leave at the 1st departure at 10:30 a.m. and they will go to the first drawer with the red bib, popular participants who do not have a license but have the best marks in the last two years of less than 16'20 for men and 18'45 for women will also go.
7. It is mandatory to wear the bib clearly visible on the front. The manipulation of this is grounds for disqualification. Athletes without a bib number will not be able to leave or enter the finish line, staff of the organization will be responsible for applying this regulation.
The organization will ask for ID or similar to verify the identity and age of the athlete when collecting the bib.
In the event that the person who registers is ultimately unable to participate in the test, the organization will not make any refund or exchange.
8. There will be the following services included in the registration price: Videos of departure and arrival, more than 2,000 photographs, medical service, exit through boxes according to the brand, meeting tent for volunteers, liquid and solid refreshments at the end the race, cloakroom, masseuses, activities for children, big raffle, WC and more surprises.
9. Participation in the event is under the responsibility and own risk of the participants. At the time of registration, the participants state that they are physically fit for the event. The organization disclaims all responsibility for the damage that the participants or the public may cause during the test, cause themselves or derive from them to third parties.
10. The participants explicitly allow their name, surname, gender and year of birth to be published on the lists of registrants, as well as on the list of results if they finish the race, following the established regulations.
11. Complaints must be made verbally to the Referee, up to 30 minutes after knowing the results. Once all the evidence presented has been considered, he/she will make a decision, which will be communicated to the person concerned. If this is not favorable to you, you can appeal to the Jury of Appeal Claims to the Jury of Appeal must be made in writing and must be accompanied by a deposit of €50, which will be returned in the event that the claim is accepted. The decisions of the Jury of Appeal will be final. Although he can reconsider his decisions in the event that conclusive new evidence is presented.
12. Every participant gives their consent for La Sansi, by itself or by third parties, to use the images of the test for its promotion, as well as the computer processing for exclusively sporting, promotional or commercial purposes of its personal data. In accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13 on the protection of personal data, the participant may exercise his right to these files with the aim of rectifying or canceling home to partially or fully form its content. 13. The organization reserves the right to change the date or schedule or cancel the race, without the right to claim compensation from the registrants.
In the same way, the organization reserves the right to extend the registration period for the race, for any of the participating groups, if it deems it appropriate.

15. The fact that the number, shirt or gift bag is not collected on the established days means that the participant renounces taking part in the test and the money will not be returned. It is mandatory to participate with the number.
16. For groups or clubs with at least 10 participants, the registration price will be cheaper by sending an email to: viladecans@lasansi.com
17. The classifications can be consulted on the morning of the test online at www.lasansi.com / www.lasansiviladecans.com
Limited places in the race of 1,200 participants. The last day to register will be 03/12/24 if there are still registrations.
18. PRIZES:
There will be an absolute men's and a women's classification, as well as a master's classification by sex and categories every 5 years. Foreign athletes cannot achieve the title of champion of Catalonia, with the exception of athletes who have been licensed by the FCA for the 3rd year in a row, who will be entitled to the official award and therefore can be champions of Catalonia .
At 5 km Trophy, medal and financial prizes for the first 3 federated classifications to reach the finish line and for the first 3 federated ones to reach the finish line.
Likewise, the organization will provide the following cash prizes for the first 3 classifieds of the Absolute Catalonia Championship, both in the male and female categories:
• Champion of Catalonia 300€
• 2on place 200€
• 3rd place 100€
Prizes for the first 5 absolutes and the first 5 absolutes.
Medals will be awarded to the top 3 finishers in the absolute category and the top 3 finishers in each master category (from M35 onwards every 5 years).
First and first place trophy.
Trophy to the youngest and youngest of the morning.
Prize for the first three male and female children's races with medals for all.
Failure to collect the prize will be forfeited.
19. Before departure (30 minutes before) and after the prize giving, gifts will be drawn. The raffle rules will be as follows:
- Elite athletes, organizing committee and family members will not be part of the draw
- The bib number will be the reference for participation in the draw. The prize must be claimed physically with the number in a period not exceeding two minutes maximum. If there is no winner, the draw will be repeated.
20. Delivery of numbers:
It can be collected on Saturday or Sunday up to 1 hour before the race.
(The collection location will be announced a few days before on the website and by email to each registrant).
Failure to collect the participant's bib and bag on the established days means relinquishing them (Consult bib collection section).
21. A cloakroom service is available to participants, located next to the exit. The organization is not responsible for objects that may be deposited by participants. It is essential to carry them with a bag.
22. It is mandatory to participate with the number placed on the front in a visible way.
23. Spanish athletes with a federal scholarship may not participate in the race, nor foreign athletes who have achieved (during this season or the previous two) a mark with a value equal to or greater than 950 points from the current IAAF table,
24. Returns Policy. You must make sure before processing the purchase because it is not possible to return purchased registrations. A mistake in the purchase or non-attendance, among others, will not justify the refund of the amount or the modification of the registration already purchased.
Registrations can only be canceled due to possible cancellation of the event.
