RULES FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE 46th SANT SILVESTRE 2025
1. On December 26, Sansi will organize the 46th edition of the Sant Silvestre del Masnou 5 km homologated race, with the collaboration of the Masnou Town Hall and Esportcat.
The event will begin at 10:30 am with the popular Sant Silvestre 5 km with a joint start for men and women (time limit until 11:25 am) and then at 11:30 am the 3 children's races (2012 to 2025) of 400 to 800 meters. The start and finish will be at the Nacional II, at the level of Tomàs Vives Street, in front of the Masnou Town Hall, and right next to the Ocata suburban station.
The distance is 5 kilometers, has been measured and approved by the Catalan Athletics Federation and certified. The route is duly signposted and marked every 500 meters, with only two turns. The race scores in the Championchip League. Participation in the 5 km race is recommended for athletes over 12 years old.

Registration is open to everyone, regardless of age, sex or country. Each participant participates under their own responsibility and also assumes that they are in sufficient physical condition to face the race.
Registration fees are: on the registration form.
For groups / entities of more than 10 participants: €2 less (Until 15/11/25).
The bib can only be collected the days before the race (More information about collection on the website the days before the race). Race numbers will NOT be given on the day of the race.
The registration fee for the children's race is €5 (to be donated to the Ricky Rubio Foundation) and €3 more for a technical t-shirt. Limit of 200 registrants.
2. Registration will close when 2,400 registrants are reached.
10:30 a.m. 5 km popular race The race will close at 11:25 a.m.
11:30 a.m. 3 Children's races from 400 to 800 meters (The races will be adapted depending on the number of registrants). Information will be provided a few days before the race.
11:50 a.m. Awards ceremony for the 5 km and the 3 children's races.
3. The organization guarantees equality between women and men as one of the basic principles of action. The generic mentions in the masculine gender in the articles of these regulations will also be understood as referring to their corresponding feminine gender, except in cases where it is specifically stated that this is not the case.
4. The refreshment point will be located after the finish line. We ask for your collaboration in order to be able to carry out a good selective collection of waste and, in this way, reduce the environmental impact of the event.

5. It is mandatory to use a chip; incorrect use of the chip and not wearing it on the shoe implies not appearing in the official classification of the event, with no right to claim. Participants who do not have a chip in their possession (yellow chip) must purchase a single-use chip at the price of 2 euros (see conditions in the “Registration” section), and it will be on the bib. There is no need to return.

6. In the event of not participating, the amount paid will not be refunded if it is for reasons not attributable to the organization. Registrations will close when 2,400 participants are registered. Similarly, the organization reserves the right to increase the number of participants or the registration period for the race for any of the participating groups. 7. The organization may modify the schedule and route for reasons beyond its control or force majeure, without the right to claim.

8. The start is designed in sections with different colors depending on the best accredited mark in 5 or 10 kilometers in the txipgroc races of the last two years. Each section will be identified with a color. Only participants who have the bib or bracelet of the distinctive color of each section can access it. In the event of not having an accredited mark in any official race, when the bibs are handed over, the mark can be accredited in any homologated or official race of the last 24 months. Downhill races or similar will not be valid, and a wristband will be given to exit the corresponding section. Anyone who does not present a mark will exit the last section.

9. The only vehicles that can follow the race are those accredited and expressly authorized by the organization.

10. The bib and chip must be collected on the days and times established by the organization. More information on the website.

11. Failure to collect the bib, t-shirt and gift bag on the established days means that the participant renounces taking part in the race and no refund will be made for the money or material. The organization reserves the right to request the original ID or passport if it considers that the photocopy submitted was fraudulent. If a participant presents a forged document, they will be disqualified and the registration fee will not be refunded. The bib, together with the chip, must be collected on the days and times established by the organization.

12. Is it

It is mandatory to run the race with the bib placed visibly on the front of the chest; it will not be valid on the back or legs. The organization's staff will prevent the departure or arrival of people without a bib.

13. Registration is personal and non-transferable and implies acceptance of these regulations. Under no circumstances, once registration has been made, may participation be transferred to third parties due to inability to attend the day of the race. Runners who participate with another bib and/or chip will have their mark cancelled, and it will be decided whether they will be allowed to participate in the next edition.

14. A cloakroom service is available to participants according to their bib number. The organization is not responsible for any objects that participants may leave there. They must be carried in a bag.

15. Participation in the race is at the participants' own risk and responsibility. The organization is not responsible for any damage that participants may cause during the race, to themselves or to third parties. You can participate in a wheelchair or with an athletics cart, but not with a hand bike (handbike), roller skates, skateboard, bicycle, tricycle or electric wheelchair, among others.

16. People with visual impairments must be properly identified, as well as the person who guides them. If you want to have your brand recorded, you will be assigned the same as that of the runner you accompany.

17. In the classification by category, real time will be taken into account. Trophies will be awarded to the first five and absolute first to reach the finish line; they will be collected at 11:45 a.m. at the end of the race, as well as to the first 3 and first 3 of each category and the 3 children's races. You will need to go to the podium area once the race has finished to find out the first, second and third positions. Failure to collect the prize will result in forfeiture. The categories are exclusive; that is, the same person cannot be awarded in two categories.

18. Participants explicitly allow their name, surname, gender and year of birth to be published in the list of entrants, as well as in the results list if they finish the race, following the established regulations.

19. Only clubs or associations that request it via email to elmasnou@lasansi.com may set up tents or similar in the start/finish area. The local police may impose sanctions in the event of failure to obtain authorization.

20. All participants consent to the organization, by itself or through third parties, using images of the event for its promotion, as well as the processing of personal data for exclusively sporting, promotional or commercial purposes. In accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999, of December 13, on the Protection of Personal Data, participants may exercise their right to these files in order to rectify or cancel their partial or total information in the content. 21. Complaints must be made to the organization up to 30 minutes after the participant has crossed the finish line, attaching €60. In the event of a favorable resolution to the complaint, the deposit will be returned; otherwise, it will be allocated to the race's charity. The organization's decision will be final.

22. The size of the t-shirt requested when registering cannot be changed. If your size is not available when registering, the one you choose will be the one delivered. Participants may participate in the T-shirt they deem appropriate, as long as it does not have symbols or emblems that imply incitement to violence.

23. The organization will have an adequate medical service. The participant authorizes the health services or members of the organization to provide any care in case of need, whether or not they are in a condition to request it. If the organization or the health services see any participant in a state that does not allow them to continue, they may make them abandon the event.

25. If the race f

os included in the FCA calendar, the organization will not register Spanish athletes with a federation scholarship or foreign athletes who have achieved, during the last two years, a mark with a value equal to or greater than 950 points on the current WA table, in races that appear in the “World Athletics” ranking. Nor will it be responsible for their participation or claim, in the event that they are disqualified by the Federation. The Race is a solidarity race and participants, at the time of registration, can make a donation to a charitable cause.
26. Refund policy. You must make sure before processing the purchase, because it is not possible to return the purchased registration. A mistake in the purchase or non-attendance, among others, will not justify the return of the amount or the modification of the registration already purchased. Registrations can only be canceled in the event of possible cancellation of the event.

28.After the award ceremony, prizes will be raffled. The rules of the draw will be as follows:
- Elite athletes, organizing committee and family members will not be part of the draw. The bib number will be the reference for participation in the draw. The prize must be claimed physically with the bib within a period not exceeding two minutes maximum. If there is no winner, the draw will be repeated.
29. The fact of registering implies acceptance of these regulations. The organization will decide any incident that is not foreseen. The organization will decide whether athletes who fail to comply with these regulations will be disqualified.

30. Anything not provided for in the previous articles will be decided by the organization of the race.
