BASIS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE 45th SANT SILVESTRE 2024

1. La Sansi and The Masnou Town Council will organize, on December 26, the 45th edition of the Sant Silvestre del Masnou 5 km approved race, which is part of the calendar of the Catalan Athletics Federation which will be managed and executed by the club athletics La Sansi. The event will start at 10.30am with the popular 5km Sant Silvestre race with a joint start for men and women (time limit until 10.25am) and then at 11.30am the 3 children's races (2011 to 2024) from 300 to 800 meters. The departure and arrival will be at the National II, at the height of Tomàs Vives street, in front of the Masnou Town Hall, and right next to the Ocata suburban station.

2, The distance is 5 kilometres, it has been measured and approved by the Catalan Athletics Federation and certified by the RFEA. The route is properly signposted and marked every 500 meters, with only two turns. The race scores in the Championchip League. In the 5 km race, participation is recommended for athletes over 12 years of age.

Registration is open to everyone, regardless of age, gender or country. Each participant participates under his own responsibility and also assumes that he is in sufficient physical condition to face the test. Participating in the race represents full acceptance and respect for these regulations. Its interpretation and everything that is not expressly regulated will be decided by the Organizing Committee.

The registration fees are:

With Luanvi t-shirt and gift bag: 15 euros (17 euros rental chip)

Without shirt or gift bag: 12 euros (14 euros rental chip)

For groups / organizations of more than 10 participants: €2 less

Registration fees for the children's race are 5€ (to be used for charitable donations) with gifts and 3€ more with a technical shirt.

The registration has a cost + 0.30€ of the cost of the gateway for processing the registration, plus 2€ in case of using a rental chip. If you do not participate, the amount will not be returned, nor the white chip, if it is for reasons not attributable to the organization.

Registrations will close when they reach 2,000 registrants. In the same way, the organization reserves the right to extend the race registration period for any of the participating groups if it deems it appropriate.

4. The number can be collected next to the start on the same day of the race from 8am to 9.30am or on the previous days (More information on collection on the website the days before the race)
5. The deadline for registration ends on December 21 at 11:59 p.m. or until numbers are sold out (In the last editions, they sold out days before the race).
6. Registration is personal and non-transferable, and implies full acceptance of these rules and the official Regulations of the Catalan Athletics Federation's Fundraising Committee.

 The participants explicitly allow their name, surname, gender and year of birth to be published on the lists of registrants, as well as on the list of results if they finish the race, following the established regulations.

 The organization will ask for ID or other identification to verify the age or identity of the athlete. The authorization of the parents or guardians for the participation of any underage participant will be reflected in the registration forms. This authorization will enable, in the event of an accident and the absence of parents or guardians, the transfer of the minor to the nearest emergency center.

Failure to collect the number, shirt and gift bag on the established days means that the participant renounces taking part in the test and the money will not be refunded. It is mandatory to participate in the race with a visible number.

7. Everyone who participates must present themselves at the starting line with their own or white chip and the corresponding number visible on their chest. Participants without a number will not be able to leave or enter the finish line. Staff of the organization will be responsible for applying these regulations.
8. The timing of the race will be done using the Chip system with the Championchip company, the yellow property chip or the white rental chip that will go on the bib and will not need to be returned.
9. Only participants who start, follow and finish the entire route with the corresponding number and chip, and who cross the finish line, will be included in the classifications.
10. The organization is not responsible for any moral or material damage that may be caused to participants and the public during this competition.

11. All boys and girls can take part in the 3 children's races from 2011 to 2024. There will be a prize for the first three men and women, and medals for all and minors Distances from 400 to 800 meters. Departure towards Barcelona. The week of the race according to registrants, the ages of each race will be drawn up.

Entity/club with the most participants

 

Prizes will be awarded on the day of the race at 11.55am. You will need to go to the podium area after the race to know the first, second and third positions. Non-collection of the prize is forfeited. The categories are exclusive, that is to say, the same person cannot be awarded in two categories.

13. All participants who choose the t-shirt option will receive a Luanvi technical long-sleeve t-shirt and at the finish a goody bag from the sponsors. In the promotion races there will also be this possibility of a technical shirt for the participants. In the last few days, once the t-shirts are sold out, you will have the option to register without a t-shirt or gift bag.
14. There will be the following services: medical service at different points, number with name, number for the number and cut-out for the wardrobe, exit drawers according to the brand, meeting point for volunteers, gift bag (optional), liquid and solid refreshments at the end of the race, WC, cloakroom, children's play area, and raffle of sports equipment.
15. The results and diploma for each participant in the 5 km and children's races will be on the website from the moment the participant crosses the finish line, on the website: www.santsilvestredelmasnou.com
16. Participating in the race implies acceptance of these participation rules, while anything that is not included is at the discretion of the organization.
17. By registering, the participants give their consent for Club Atletisme La Sansi, by itself or by third parties, to use the images of the test to promote it as well as the personal data for the computer processing for exclusively sporting, promotional or commercial purposes. In accordance with the provisions of Organic Law 15/1999 of December 13 on the protection of personal data, participants may exercise their right to access these files in order to rectify or cancel partially or total your data. 18. The organization reserves the right to change the date or route, or cancel the event, without the right to claim any compensation from the registrants.
19. You must make sure before processing the purchase because it is not possible to return purchased registrations. A mistake in the purchase or non-attendance, among others, will not justify the refund of the amount or the modification of the registration already purchased. Registrations can only be cancelled due to possible cancellation of the event.
20. Spanish athletes with a federal scholarship may not participate in the race, nor foreign athletes who have achieved (during this season or the previous two) a mark with a value equal to or greater than 950 points from the current IAAF table, being approximately these mark those indicated below:

21. The only vehicles that can follow the test are those expressly authorized by the organization.
22. The start is designed by drawers based on the best accredited mark at 10 kilometres in the xipgroc races of the last two years. Each drawer is identified with a colour. Only participants who have the number or wristband of the distinctive colour of each drawer can access it. If you do not have an accredited mark in an official race, you will be taken out of the hold

x white (the last drawer). At the delivery of bibs, the brand can be credited and we will give you a wristband to leave the corresponding drawer.
